Our history
BOWE IQ was established in 1996 and originally known as Red Ledge. During this time, we have morphed from small firm status into a recognised brand of BOWE GROUP, a German-based leader in smart automation & IoT solutions and member company of the multi-billion-pound Possehl Group.
Even as we’ve grown and evolved, we have stuck to our local roots in the picturesque West Yorkshire town of Holmfirth. Our base is an historic four-storey mill that now houses two whole floors of up-to-the minute demo equipment and of course our many skilled developers and support engineers. It’s the perfect setting for teams to visit to see our RFID systems, robots, and software in action.
